Juhi Chawla was born on 13th November, 1967 to a Punjabi father Dr. S. Chawla and a Gujarati mother Mona and has a younger brother named Sanjeev. She completed her graduation from Sydenham College, Mumbai. Juhi Chawla, a former Femina Miss India, married Jai Mehta, a millionaire industrialist in India and has two children with him.
Though she made her debut with 'Sultanat' in 1986 but it was her role in 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' in 1988 which gave her immediate appreciation. The film did really well at the box office where she acted opposite
Aamir Khan.

The duo, along with Aziz Mirza, formed a production company 'Dreamz Unlimited' to make their kind of films. Though their first production 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani' didn't work wonders at the box office but still it was a much talked about films. Lately, one has seen a complete transformation in the kind of roles chosen by Juhi Chawla. She has been part of few critically acclaimed films which includes 'Teen Deewarein', '7½ Phere' and 'My Brother Nikhil'.
